I am full term on my third and final baby. I have dropped and dialted to two with an effacement of 65%. My midwife is going to strip my membranes tomarrow at 10:30. It worked on my last child and wonder if it will do it again for this one. Need a little bit of hope and encouragement. Can ya help a mommy out?

i am in the same position!! except this is my first baby! i wish i could help you feel better, but just think... your baby is almost here!!! this is you last one so try to just reflect and enjoy the experience before it is over. hopefully stripping your membranes will work, and if it doesn't you stil won't have to be pregnant much longer.

try to just take some time for just you (if you can). put your feet up. enjoy some food. relax. think about your last pregnancy and how many wonderful memories you are going to have with your new baby!!!

congrats!! and best wishes to you, your family, and your new baby!!

You'll be fine! The effacement is what takes the longest, you should start dialating pretty quickly after you're fully effaced.

Enjoy the quiet before your newest one, and take some time to spend with each of your other children before the new one gets here.

My chum have been given pregnant whilst on the dep. shot. She have been on the shot for over 10 years, and by no skill had a era, through shot. She went in for a soreness in her abdomen, and the scientific expert believed it to be a pulled muscle. some months later, she went in returned for an identical reason, and the scientific expert ran some assessments and instructed her that she probable had a tubal being pregnant. So, she scheduled an appt on the well-being facility for surgical treatment to eliminate the toddler because tubal pregnancies are quite risky. The nurse asked her if she wanted to pay attention her toddler's heartbeat, and my chum became bowled over, and instructed the nurse that it would be too morbid to pay attention that as quickly as they had to terminate the being pregnant. The nurse then commented that her toddler became going to be basically positive, he became proper the place he needed to be and she or he became due in 2 weeks. curiously the toddler have been up below her rib cage, so it became not that detectable. She's not small, and she or he by no skill confirmed. Her toddler, i think of, had a quite low, yet healthful weight. She claimed that she by no skill knew. that's slightly creepy in case you question me, too frightening to not be responsive to or have time to plot for a toddler.

I had my membranes stripped and it worked to put me into labor and I had my baby girl the next day!!! It hurts, but it's so worth it! Make sure she gets in there real good so that you have a better chance of going into labor! You'll probably have your baby fast too, since it's baby #3! g'luck!

The last few days of pregnancy can be SUCH a drag, just hang on in there - you'll be seeing your little one soon. It'll all be worth it.

Fingers crossed that sweeping your membranes worked - i'm sure it will. Now go have a curry and some pineapple!!

Good luck and congratulations!!

I think that will move the process along since you have had 2 children before. I wish you a safe and healthy delivery for mom and baby. Good luck!

Oh I had that done with my 2nd child and I had her 2 days later. I'm not sure how it affects you since you had it done before but I'm sure it's the same. Third baby huh?? As I scream, "Don't touch the TV!", good luck!

Hang in there hon. That last month is tough, but just think of that sweet beautiful person you're going to be meeting very soon.

I say wait this time and let him or her come when they come. It'll be worth the wait too. (big smile)

Congratulations on the new addition to your family! :-)
