If an affair is discovered, forgiveness is always a possibility and it could be forgotten. If the thrill of the affair is gone, then you may be able to go on honestly with your original relationship. If the thrill is gone in your original relationhip, you have problems...

This is impossible to answer, every person is different so for some it could be the thrill of the chase that keeps things exciting and that dies off if they are discovered. other people have an affair and then stay together if they are discovered. However, I have no respect for people that even contemplate an affair, if you have fallen out of love with a person do the decent thing and leave them, don't cheat.

Usually once an affair is discovered, the person involved starts to feel guilty and the affair stops, though this is not always the case and it has being known for affairs to restart after a short while.. I guess it depends on how forceful the other people are who are involved,.

Well wasn't it a thrill to discover the affair? It's gone forever. You may forgive it but you'll never forget it.

The thrill lasts long enough for the newness effect to wear off. The unknown becomes known and familiar.... Many people confuse this feeling with love, that's why no one knows what love is anymore. To put a time frame on it usually six months, is generally how long it takes to really get to know someone and see them for who they are. The repercussions of cheating on a loved one last forever, it will always remain and some people aren't as forgiving as others. In my opinion its not worth it,, it becomes apart of your life's story and something you will be remember for. even by god. he will remember it and remind u when your standing in judgment. you will pay for it by spending an eternity in hell...

for an affair to occur, must be a couple, by marriage or girl friend, boy friend situation..if you do it for revenge, ah, OK but work out the things in another way, like(swinging instead of betrayal) if theres no reason for an affair and you do it for the thrill, you know what they say, the taste of your labor, will reflect in your mirror

So glad i didn't marry you!
If you have affairs for thrills then you ain't much of a person.
Hope your partner has the sense to kick you in the *** and make you regret your affair.
My motto is
don't live life with regrets or you will regret it!
work it out

The thrill should vanish the second the person who is being betrayed finds out and you see what you have done to them. Not much thrilling about destroying someones life, huh.

I think the thrill will run out anyway, it did for my friend who has finally found her scruples and ended it, but when you get caught the only thing that lasts is the guilt and knowing you caused someone unnecessary heart ache.
