4 days ago i thought my period was coming as i experienced a bit of brown discharge which always happens just before i come on when this happens i usualy come on within the day but it is now day 4 of my suposid period and im still just having brown reddish disharge which is kinda like spotting. This is not just a light period as it doesnt even fill a pad. what could this be?
ps me and my partner are trying to concieve, and im not stressed or anything like that

I'm sorry that you are being met with some harsh comments in this section. This is meant to be an open forum and this is a sensitive subject, so I don't understand why someone would come down on you for putting your question in the "wrong" section. Anyway, to the point, you need to take a test, but you also need to call your doc/nurse and tell them what's going on. It's always best to keep the professionals in the loop when you are trying. They will tell you if there is cause for concern or if you just need to wait and see. Good Luck.

This sounds very similar to the implantation bleed which i had. It appeared the day after my period was due an lasted 3 or 4 days. It was red-brown colour but very light. I found out the same day it started that i was pregnant!!! Im now 17 weeks an everythings going great! Good luck an i hope you are pregnant!! :) xx

i think that you should take a pregnancy test just to check because you may be pregnant, because some women still have periods and discharge when they are pregnant. if the test comes back negative then i suggest that you go and see your doctor and explain to them what has been happening.

Sometimes our bodies need to clean out some old blood. That is probably what is happening with you. If it continues and/or stops and you don't get a normal period, call your doctor. I am sure it is nothing serious. Good Luck and God Bless

i would say take a pregnancy test to see wat happens. It's normal to experience a lighter than normal period if u are or no period at all. And since you are already supposed to have your period, the hpt should be accurate enough to tell you for sure. I reccomend the first response brand. good luck!
