First of all to those who say that being black or being a woman doesn't qualify a person to run a country, they are all exactly right. However Obama and Clinton are not in the position that they are in because of there race or gender. We have had other black candidates before, none of them have reached the stature that Obama has, we have also had other female candidates before and none of them have come anywhere near where Clinton is, perhaps there is something more to each candidate. Open up your eyes and your mind and you will see that both are qualified to represent this country as it's leader.

Now which of the 2 should lead this country?

Personally I feel that Hillary is pulling out all the campaign tricks, and on the other side Obama has made some campaign "mistakes" but has stood firm to his beliefs.

Clinton has thrown out a campaign promises left and right, knowing that some of the items she has promised have no chance of passing congress.

Obama has put together plans that have the ability to pass congress, he is known for his bipartisan work and support from both sides of the aisle. He has worked with John McCain, Kit Bond, Charles Schumer, Russ Feingold, Chuck Hagel, Arlen Specter, Richard Lugar, Tom Coburn, etc. During his time in the Senate Obama has proved that he is a knowledgeable and confident leader with the ability to write and pass legislation and has become one of the most popular and respected members of the Senate. He is considered to be one of the most honest, direct candidates and I believe him to be the future of America.

Well i would say Obama, although i find both to be suitable. If you watch them speak, Obama gives a more down to earth answer and appeals to the everyday person. Clinton does avoid some questions, but usually gets around to answering. Both have strong records in the senate, as stated by brandan-ryhan.com. "Clinton -- six years in the US Senate;Edwards -- six years in the US Senate;
Obama -- seven years in the Illinois state senate and two years in the US Senate."
The whole "not enough experience" thing does not really make sense. Here is a quick quote from obamapedia.com
"What is experience? Previous presidents have been governors, or had a longer term in the Senate or House, before taking office. All of these experiences prepare a person to operate within the system, rather than to change the system. Yet change is precisely what this nation needs. Barack has correctly pointed out that the two of the most experienced people in Washington, Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney, have led the U.S. into the disaster of Iraq."
I feel this applies to both Obama and Hilary, as neither appear to be absent minded or have malintent.

I suppose it is really up to what you are looking for as far as changes within our country. I personally look for someone with a strong global understanding as well as national. Since I live in Detroit (not the safest place), I want a candidate who understands that not everyone can afford health care or even a stable home. This is someone who can see not just one problem and a solution, but the source of the problem and many possible solutions.

If i were you I would just search google.com for what others think, but do try to ignore those who simple say things versus those who make an educated opinion.

Good luck with your choice and let's hope we have some positive changes in the next few years.

I will stick by Hillary even after watching the Alex Jones documentary. For those still ignorant enough who don't realize socialism and communism are not the same thing, maybe you need to do some reading. Socialism would ever succeed in America, with or without Presidential support, it is far too greedy a country. The very ppl who reject it are the ones who would benefit most from it. Hillary Clinton, and her husband are both upstanding citizens. She has proven herself over and over and can stand up against any of the idiots running....Rudy G aside (who I would also support). Bill Clinton has done more for this country (among others) since he's been out of office, then when he was in. But all anyone can talk about is Monica-gate. It bears repeating that most Presidents have done much worse than received a BJ in the oval office.
On a final note....as one other poster put it....Obama is just creepy. It doesn't matter what I say for I am not hopeful. After all, look who the American ppl have put in office for the past 8 years? He's done a bang up job.
***CHOKING----most powerful nation on the planet????? you're joking right? have you been keeping an eye on China lately? Have you've been keeping an eye on the American dollar? Does anybody even LIKE us anymore? Are you Dick Cheney???????*****

Id have to go with Obama on this one although neither one is exactly a "qualified " candidate. Happening to be a black man and a jr senator or a woman with the last name Clinton is not a "qualification" in my book. Look closely at both of these candidates Hilary is an accident just waiting to happen if president she will be a laughing stock and nightly fodder on Leno in one year or less. Obama who is he? Just a junior senator from Illinois who has done very little for his state since being elected has written no legislation and has followed party lines to a Tee! If Obama was not a black man he wouldnt even be in this race same for Miss Hilary if she were not a woman and have the name Clinton she wouldnt even have a chance!

I support Hillary Clinton because I agree with her stance on political issues. I support and have supported President Bush because at the time of his election(s) he supported issues I stand for.

I don't pay attention to flash or rhetoric. At the end of the day I want my candidate to stand for the same issues I do.

I believe that Hillary Clinton has a decent record so far and she will be an able president.

I am in my 40s, and pretty much a Republican, but if I had to choose only from those two I think I'd pick Obama. There is too much unease with Hillary Clinton - her character, honesty, etc.

Neither a candidate's race nor gender is an issue with me. Conservatives were hoping Condoleeza Rice would run!

Prefer doing what??

I have no problem with either of them working at a soup Kitchen for the homeless.

I have a big problem with them being in charge of the most powerful nation on the planet.

Neither has the experience --combined--as a 2nd tier Candidate on the Republican side. What do they have total experience as SENATORS--8 years and the last year they have spent campaigning!

Hillary;

More qualified, more experience, intelligent, wife of the best president we've had in a long time, etc.

...she's got my vote. (by the way, i'm sorry that no one here actually answers any questions that anyone asks, you'll get used to that)

well Hillary wants to prohibit tobacco, so i think she sucks, but i don't know enough about Barack to pick him either..... right now I'm liking Huckabee, but not a whole lot either

i saw that you asked where you could see the anti-walmart ad in a question you answered (q not posted by me) and decided to send you the link by answering one of your questions (which is a great question and i am going to go to Barack's website and read his "Issues" and come back)
but the anti-walmart ad is here:
http://www.wakeupwalmart.com/video/corrupt.html

edit-
ok, i checked their websites and did some google searches, and have decided that on the whole, Obama Barack is the best of two people that I really don't care for at all.
I made my first ever yahoo 360 blog about your question!
