It depends on grade and mint mark. The mint mark is on the eagle side near the bottom below the wreath. Most silver dollars from that time did not circulate but stayed at the mint or in a bank vault. I would guess the coin may have some wear but not a lot. so if no mint mark from about $40 in Grade very fine to $80 in extra fine. The 1901 with no mint mark is kind of scarcer than the mintage suggests, due to a large number were probably melted. There is also a rare double die reverse variety and a dealer would need to see it to tell. If it ha a mint mark of O for New Orleans it is worth $16-$17 in the same grades. If it has an S for San Francisco then it is worth $30-$40. The coin of course would be worth less in lower grades and much more in mint state grades. I used two of the higher circulated grades as an example of values. The values given are about what a dealer would pay. Without actually seeing the coin I can only guesstimate. Hope this helps some.

It depends on where it was minted, and its grade. If its in good condition it would be worth at least $17. Of course considering other factors it could be worth more.
