Interesting question.... (not that it works)... but unfortunately people have doing this for years gone and still many more are going to continue to do for years to come..... I guess every individual who does it feels like they are going to be the one to succeed in keeping that man.....NOT!
Anywayzzz... to answer your question... NO I would not get pregnant to keep a man.... what's the point of it!

Hell no! If that is the only reason he'd stay then things would get worse! I got pregnant by accident at 18 and we married soon after the baby. We fought constantly because guess what? He didn't want to share the responsibility of the kid. He's a great dad to her now that she is older *didn't do much up till she was @ 5*. BTW, we divorced a year after she was born. If you are thinking that having a baby will make the relationship better than 90% chance your wrong. Always ask, if I were pregnant, would you stay. Gauge his reaction. Sorry to be blunt in case it's just a simple question but if it is your plan, think it through carefully. It's hard raising a kid alone. P.S. I am happily married with three kids now to a man who loves me and wanted to have kids with me and took on my first as his own!!

i might hate your guts. my chum is dew in 2 weeks and has a issue being pregnant. and she or he's working! get off your fat butt and cease looking on a guy. what's your issue. you certainly could desire to strengthen up. and how are you able to be so egocentric. you deliver a new child into this worldwide not because you like the new child and prefer to have a toddler yet to catch a guy into something he does not prefer to do. i wish your babies get removing from you and you get throw on the streets in view that's the place you belong. Your the reason this county is going so down hill through fact immature lil women such as you are trying this after which count on the state to pay on your babies while the guy leaves!

No! if your last hope at keeping them is to have a child with them, then that a little messed up... if they don't want to be with you, do you think they will want to be with you if a child is involved... maybe you might buy yourself a few months or maybe a few years... but later down the road you will definitely feel the repercussion
if they aren't happy let them go... being a single parent isn't all that great of a back up plan.

Hell no. I wouldn't keep someone just because I'm pregnant. I have more dignity than that. If they want to stay they will stay no matter what. People who have to use a baby to make a relationship work, shouldn't be in that relationship at all.

why do you think getting pregnant would keep a man? plenty of men LEAVE their girlfriends because they are pregnant! its more likely to push boyfriend away than make him want to stay and when he does leave, guess who will be left ''holding the baby'' and toughing it on benefits? believe me i am speaking from experience, i didnt get pregnant to keep a man, it happened by accident, when he found out i didnt see him 4 dust.

No way! That's just ridiculous. I hate when I hear about this.
Honestly, if someone doesn't want to be with you, why force them? It's also not a good situation for the child...being brought into the world with a broken family.
Besides, once you have a kid with someone, its not like it goes away when you're ready to let your man/gf go.

NO geting pregnant is not the way to keep a man but getting his money may be but true love is the only way , be your self and true to your self.

thats a nasty and horrible way to keep a guy or a girl. it shoulkd just be natural that you want to stay together, and getting someone pregnant should not be the plan. if theyre runnin off, then let them go and find someone who cares.
