I recently got a new phone from Sprint and I was just wondering if it would cost money if I messeged people through AIM. I have unlimited texting, so would using AIM cost any extra fees? Thanks

Yes, IMs are treated just like text messages. The only difference is you're using your AIM service rather than the carriers text messaging service. Bottom line, it cost each text so make sure if you want to use AIM a lot that you sign-up for unlimited texting or you're going to fell it in your wallet when the bill comes.

If Sprint is like Verizon, sending messages through Aim just counts as a text message, so if you have unlimited then you are good.

I surely have AT&T and in case you have no longer have been given an internet documents plan then do no longer use your IM or your invoice would be outrageous I had to place a lock on my internet because of the fact on my razr i stored hitting the browser button and it may sign on line and in basic terms for those couple of seconds fee me 5.00 and on time it became on for a minutes and that i did no longer understand best away it finally end up costing me one extra 15.00 it relatively is one undertaking i hate approximately AT&T.

No, you're using your phone's internet connection and will be charged based on that usage. If you have unlimited internet access with your media plan then you're probably fine, if not then man is your bill going to suck.

Depends on who your carrier is and the type of plan you have. You might want to call Customer Service (Should be free to call them from your phone) and ask them. =-)
