Were there any real justice, they would change Columbus day into some sort of national Native American holiday. And it would still be a federal holiday, so we would still get the day off.

You will find no Columbus Day in South Dakota. The governor renamed it "Native American Day". I actually do have a reason to be proud of my state...

Yes, they deserve one. And they do have a holiday. It's Native American Day. It's celebrated on the fourth Friday of September. 2D

yes.on the navajo reservation columbus day is replaced with sovereignty day.schools hold programs to honour their elders.And we pay taxes here on the Navajo Nation.It pays for scholarships,etc.

ok i am part indian with that being said they dont pay taxs they have casinos everywere and they kinda have there own law were does it stop we pay for there collage ect.ect. the list goes on how much do you want to give them i understand this is there land but we all share it and why should we pay for something some guy did to them a long time ago
