It's hard to deny the potential of Oprah's Obama endorsement to increase his chances.. Oprah has a following of over 20 years and I can see her opinion swaying alot of people's, especially being that she's NEVER come close to endorsing a presidential candidate before..

Now their saying Will Smith may be coming on board too..

Do their opinions say or mean anything to you?

.. perhaps you won't base your decision on Oprahs' Opinion.. but are you paying MORE attention to Obama now?

The reason anyone "follows" anyone else is because they share the same values and beliefs.

Oprah won't sway my decision, neither will Will Smith, I've already made up my mind on the matter, which is I can't decide. I'm concerned about his safety and the condition our country would be in if he were assassinated. (I remember the tragedies of the 60ties)

But I also think he is a great man and certainly capable of the position. Sometimes you just gotta step up.

And I LOVE both Oprah and Will, I'd like to hear the discussions.

If he is nominated I hope he wins!!

Peace.

I don't think it matters.. except to her. I think she made a big mistake by speaking up.... a television personality should not take sides publicly... but seeing as how all the news services did it.. well why not. However, I think her ratings have slipped a little since she did that.. not that she cares.. she is done being nice to all of us so she can be a millionaire and more... now we shall see the real woman. I just find it funny that in t all these years little old Oprah has never found a candidate to endorse.. and then voila'.. along comes a black man and by God, he is the best there ever was... now tell me.. does that not seem just a little racist.. oh, bite my tongue.. the goddess Oprah a racist.. how can that be. Ah well,,, just one opinion!

NO! Pretty much everything Queen Oprah is gold, and I do not like her publically endorsing Obama - not just ENDORSING- she's self promoting him. Not fair play, Oprah.

No it doesn't. I will volunteer and vote for the Democrat who gets the nomination. VA doesn't have a Primary so I don't have a real say in who gets the nomination anyway. Like Oprah ok, love Will Smith, and ir it were up to me, I'd vote for Edwards.

Yes. Now I'm more determined than ever to vote for anyone Republican including Mickey Mouse against him or Hillary.

Obama is from Illinois, my state, I learned of him back when he first became a candidate and I really liked his style (calm) and the way he talked to people and not down at them.
I'm not alltogether sure he's ready by what the media says. Unfortunately the media is all we have to base our opinion on since we as a whole don't know the candidates personally.
I do like the way he treats people though.

Oprah does't care about his views in politics, she just sees color. No, she does not sway my vote.

I'm with Wooley Booley on this~ SATAN could run on the Republican Ticket and would probably end up with MY VOTE.
(considering the Alternative)

If we're gonna put EVIL in the White House; it might as well be the Best One
