Questions asked like this need to be more specific. In order for me to help you, I would need to know where the wire would be coming from and where is it going to.

More details please....

Today, a wire transfer is nothing more than an electronic transfer of funds from your account to the recipient. If you have on line banking you should be able to do this via the internet. Alternately, you can go to your local branch and effect the transfer. You can also take cash to a Western Union affiliate, or WalMart. They charge a small fee, around $10 if I recall correctly. The advantage for the recipient is that the funds get there faster than sending a check through the mail.

Bank wire
A computer message system linking major banks. It is used not for effecting payments, but as a mechanism to advise the receiving bank of some action that has occurred, e.g., the payment by a customer of funds into that bank's account.
