Sallie mae student loan: what is difference capitalized interest & accrued interest?
my capitalized interest is 1,941.50
and my accured interest is $78.42 (it went up in 2 days, weird?)
what does this mean? (this was my first original question--that was answered)
i was told it meant: When Sallie Mae 'capitalizes' your interest, it means they have taken the interest that has accrued on your loan and adds it to the principal of the loan.
MY QUESTION NOW: should pay the accured interest so it wont be captialized, right?
