Yeah, he'll return unless the Packers win the SB this year. I believe that he'll still want to play the game and that's the only reason he stuck with it this year. By all intents and purposes, the Packers were supposed to be possibly playing for the playoffs this year, not be a power in the NFC. I think if Mcarthy sits him the last 2 reg. season games, it'll break his starting streak and, according to him, that's the one that he loves more than any other so he won't be playing for records next year. If the Pack lose in the SB or NFC Championship, he'll be back.

I am a die hard packer fan and constantly refer to favre as my husband (it's something us green bay girls just do, don't ask??) anyway, this will be his last year regardless I believe, he's confident in Rodgers and that is something that he didn't have before. Brett genuinely loves us here in Green Bay and I think would have gone sooner if he had that confidence in Aaron prior to now. Now that he knows Aaron has what it takes, he will leave knowing there is truly no better QB in NFL history.

Brett has pretty much said that he'll keep playing as long as he is enjoying it. He's having a great year and it is obvious to everyone he is having so much fun while he's out there. I think if they win the Super Bowl this season there is a slim chance. Barring that, he'll be back next season.

He is relatively healthy and playing and a high-calibre. If he gets through this season without another injury I feel he would be inclined to return. The worst thing that comes out of this scenario is he retires during the exhibition season due to things finally jumping on his back and not letting go.

if they win the super bowl its very likely he would not return but if they get close or lose maybe one more year would do it because remember the packers on average is the youngest team in the NFL right now besides there 38 year old QB but i still love the guy

Well, Only Brett Favre will know if he wants to retire after this season all not.. If he thinks that he can play after this year then he will comeback.. If not then he will retire.

I think Favre will go out in glory. I think he has a great opportunity to win the Superbowl this year. If he wins then I think he will retire, but it is hard to say what he will do if they don't reach the Superbowl. He loves the game.
