Want to go back on depo but don't want to gain 30lbs in 3 months again. And I'm hearing its dangerous. It is convenient but is it worth it?

I was only on the depo for 3 months after the 1st shot I knew that was not for me. I hated it because I had my period every day for the entire 3 months but I didn't gain very much weight with it.

I was on the Depo shot for 2 years when i decided it was time to have another baby I had absolutely no problems with it light spotting around the time for the next shot the one thing was i did gain alot of weight i would say to not gain weight you would have to eat healthy and exercise that is very key
GOOD LUCK with whatever you choose

I don't think so, no. I too was on Depo for around 8 months and had to go off it. It caused me lots of problems. I am now on a low-hormone pill that I feel is better for my body and does not make me gain lots of weight. Good luck!

Simply put DON'T DO DEPO!

Check out all the negative reviews here:

and google "depo provera lawsuit" as there are several class action lawsuits against the makers of this drug.
