Changing the oil when the vehicle is hot/warmed up will help the oil flow out of it, it will also help lift some of the dirty particles that have settled on the bottom of the oil oan/ crankcase.
Usually not a big deal either way, but i would say it is better to change the oil when it is warm.

Warm, then all the oil is thin, and runs out more freely, less crud is stuck in sticky oil deposits.

Mind your fingers... Hot oil burns like a bugger !

Some people reccomend (if you have an oil pump on a bigger engine) you empty it, and turn the engine once or twicw with the ignition lead off, to clear out the oil that's in the pump.

Hot but not so that it can burn.

Allows the oil to drain better and completely

New filter and fresh "top" quality oil.

Run on tick over for a few moments once you have put the oil in and re-check the level

Happy biking

always warm. This causes the oil to flow faster as it drains, this allows it to go quicker, but just as important, the faster flowing warm oil will tend to flush more dirt etc out of the bike, and loosen up any clumps of goop too.

Warm.
The warm oil flows easier (it thins out as it warms).
Plus, it'll mix with the loose crud and help drain it out with the oil.
