...what does it mean when you see things that remind you of her?
For example, my crush's name is Anne & I see Maryanne in the newspaper in the 'to the editor' section.
Anything & everything that constantly reminds you of her.

i think we seem to notice things like that more when we have a certain person on our mind...:)

Simply that you have a crush on her. Infatuation separates the real from the imagined. So you imagine her name and see it everywhere in things you wouldn't normally consider. It's just a phase that you're going through and that's normal.
I wouldn't worry about unless you start to obsess over her and then I would reevaluate your actions.
