The obvious is that her sister in some way was beating her time with the dream guy - married to him, dating him, holding him hostage behind a brick wall with only a cask of Amontillado to sustain him.
Problem with the answer like that is, the star-struck murderess couldn't FIND the guy. No number, no leads. That seems to rule out Sis and any connection with the dream guy.
Furthermore, there is frankly NOTHING in this problem to say that the dream guy has anything to do with the murder. You could be mis-directing us.
In the first line of this problem, you write, "...her OWN mother ...." (Emphasis added) There's potentially a hint that the deceased Mom was NOT that of her sister (lots of folk don't say half-sister when that's the case). Hmmm ... how does that figure into this matter? Did the sister kill the Mom?
About the only other possibility I can come up with is that the murderess just snapped and lashed out when Sis accosted her on the street and jumped up and down, shouting, "Nyahh, nyahh, nyahh, mom's dead and you can't get a boyfriend, you have a miserable life!"

Her sister was married to the "man of her dreams" so she did away with her so she could have her husband ( who was her brother-in-law) . Of course the woman never met the sister's husband until the day of the funeral because they lived across the country and were only there for the funeral.
Of course now the plot thickens as there is a going to have to be another funeral planned soon but, if the woman is smart, she will have the sister's body cremated and no autopsy performed. Also, if the mother left the sister anything in her will, it might get tied up in legal matters which might take years to settle .
Then , in chapter 2 of our story............

nicely i've got study a question at here the place somebody asked with reference to the possibilities of there being an afterlife, and the atheist reaction replaced into "did you think of there replaced right into a brilliant gamble this would not become a ingesting interest?" and something of the atheists proudly exclaimed they have been so and additionally proceeded to *drink* to not say that the two varieties of people do not continually bash one yet another, yet you're being somewhat one sided.

She wanted to meet the guy again, so she figured if he was invited to her mom's funeral then he'd be at her sister's funeral too.

Put your Sharpies down and step away from your desk. I have no clue what this is about but I suddenly fear for your family's safety.
Is this another one of them riddles that are too smart for me to figure out?
