Does that mean the whites would also give Hillary a block vote, considering that in all honesty, except for the blacks who have presidential ambitions aswell, blacks would most definitely give obama thier vote, and those whites that have always been sympathetic to the black struggle would also give thier votes to obama.

Now the question is, what is the ratio of blacks to white in the democratic caucus, and what percentage is likely to go out and caucus, if you know this, there in lies your Nominee......

If there are more whites than Blacks, Hilary would win, but if there are more blacks than whites ,Obama would win

To all you people wondering WHY this is about RACE: Are you THAT stupid? Of course it's about race. You are depending on the American people to be colorblind. We never have been, why should we now be? I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but race plays a BIG part in most people's decisions. Now, on to the question. Blacks compose about 13% of the US population. Of those, about 60% are registered to vote. Of those, about 30% actually vote. Add in the small percentage of white voters who are sympathetic and you come up with a group of people with a population smaller than the state of California. Really a non issue. Obama will not win. He just doesn't have the votes.

There isn't a black "block vote". The unions don't even block vote in America (they do in Britain, much to my chagrin).

And I am pleased to report that it really doesn't look like color or gender is going to be an issue, at least not for anyone I have canvassed. There is always going to be an uncouth element who would never vote for a woman or a person of color, but they are going to vote Republican anyway.

think of the miniscule number of blacks that even have a registration card to vote. Why is this about race anyway? I'm Hispanic and have never cared who is what as long as they have the interest of America in mind.

I like the way you keep capitalising 'blacks'. It says a great deal.
