I think they are stupid, and unsafe. I think they should be banned. They are dangerous and should not be used in public areas for safety of the user and those around them. There were over 4,000 injuries to users of them in the past year. I actually tried a pair on once because they looked so easy to use by kids skating by at the mall and such. They are rather tricky to use. I just think they are unsafe and are seriously becoming an issue in public. How many times have you seen a sign at an amusement park such as Six Flags (the Largo, MD location has a sign saying this) You must keep Heelies in walking non skating position at all times. Then 5 minutes later see some idiot parent letting their kid wiz by on them. Same at the grocery store or mall you see a sign and whoosh there goes a kid and the parent doesn't stop them.

My daughter had a pair. I don't think they have much style to them, but I grew up in a different time. I think they're overpriced. The fad has pretty much ended here where we live, so they shouldn't be as hard to get as they used to be. Schools don't allow kids to wear them with the wheels in, so you're limited to when you can wear them with the wheels since most stores don't allow kids to wear them, to prevent them from hitting other customers.

My son has a pair and they leave scuff marks all over the kitchen floor, but I guess there kind of cool I would of wanted them when I was a kid

I don't like them. I hate seeing little 8 year olds think they're so cool cuz they can decide to walk or roll. My son wants a pair and he's not getting any from me.

I think they're cool and cute for young kids, but now they're making Heelies for older people (young adults I guess you'd say). I don't think they suit the older people, but hey - if it floats your boat! ^^

Good for keeping fat kids fat but other than that a complete waste of time....the make for good entertainment when people fall over!

If someone was really p1ssed it would be funny to swap their real shoes with them to see how much it messed with their head!

I'm 23...lol I have a pair..lol me and my son...I use to have the shoes with the plates in the bottom where you could grind down things with...I gave them to my son now but he loves them. I don't see any problem with them as longs as his not using them in stores and school and places he should be using them. But tons of fun trust me!!

I hate them, they are sooo dangerous. Kids always fall and crash into each other. But some kids are gooood at it. I think it just rude when they are doing it inside like at the mall and church.
