At last! somebody who can see that we are not the Great Britain we used to be, if we ever were.
I am sick of reading the propaganda in the press that we should demand a referendum, they seem to think everyone here is against the E.U. and will vote accordingly.
Like you, I firmly believe that we should be in there lock stock and barrel. the reason we are not getting the best we can from the E.U. is because at the moment we have one foot in and one out.
The working class people of this country are missing out because the powers that be here only want it in the form it was originally conceived, remember THE COMMON MARKET? a market, a place to wheel and deal for business and the rich and powerful, benefits for the working people in this market place? non negotiable, sorry!.
Take a look now at the leading players in the market, now called the european union, or comunity, Germany, France and soon to be others. Their working classes get a much fairer deal for their efforts than we do, shorter working weeks, more holidays and in all member countries bar none, a lot less cost of living. Great Britain?don,t make me laugh
