I am wondering how many people have stopped watching Fox or other comercial networks due to free press on the internet and lack of trust in there reporting.

Do you know any sites that show the stats of how many people have watched these networks over the years ?

Fox News is the only place I can hear both sides of a story. You should try watching it sometime with an open mind.

I don't have much time for TV these days, but if I watch,it would be Fox News.

Your point is great though, alternate media sources are excellent these days in sharing the same news, and because of certain types of media, you get more information faster.

Recently my wife bought be a Apple Nano since I travel a lot. I have found that podcasts of different news organs or authors extremely valuable as I sit in otherwise less productive parts of my day.

Between, video and audio podcasts, and some of my favorite music artists, I wish she would have got an 8Gig version as I often fill mine up with info.

Although the bar is extremely low, Fox is the most reliable news network around. I don't turn on TV to get the truth about anything. I do my homework and base my opinions on the facts, not sound bites.

I watch all the media. I don't believe that any of them are totally balanced. I read both Huffington and Newsmax, as well as read Wash Post, NY Times, that rag in Manchester, and anything I can.

As a liberal, I'm surprised that I watch Morning Joe (Joe Scarborough, and friends) religiously every morning. Pretty much get both sides of the story, some honest debate from both sides, and those three are very entertaining to watch.

Am I the only one who thinks that since Bush and his so-called Right-Wing Christians have been given a national voice, that violence, hate, and prejudices have been constantly on the rise in this country? I can't get over the thought of having armed guards at these mega churches. This is not the kind of society the majority of Americans want to identify with.

And, if our own government officials don't have to obey the law, why in the hell should Americans have to obey the law. That's what is going to keep filtering down throughout our society. Since they killed the shooter, how will they know why he went on this killing spree in this church ... maybe they should ask the preachers and the staff why it is necessary for them to be armed in the first place.

These people are not about Christ, they are only about mega bucks, making money. And, when are Americans going to realize this. I thought seeing armed guards in grocery stores was another downfall of this country, now armed guards in churches? Do they have the NRA giving talks, teaching Sunday School classes? Should we be surprised?

God, what a mess this country has become with the Bush Republicans in charge ... as far back as Nixon. What is more surprising, the gunman in church or the armed security guard staff member? Violence begets violence even at church.

I NEVER WATCH FOX/GOP-TV

I've never been much of a tv watcher, but I can't say it has anything to do with FOX.

To the guy who has a problem with armed guards in megachurches, I would think a majority of Americans are thankful someone took the guy out before he could kill more people.

Not only did I stop watching it, I sent them an e-mail telling them that I would stop watching unless they let their guests finish a sentence without the host going into a rant.
I turn on programs to listen to all sides. I don't want to watch a bunch acting so rude that my mother would slap them all and send them to their rooms.
I don't let my kids act that way, I sure don't want to tune it in on TV!
I don't know how anyone could learn anything with the hosts screeming over the guests.

What you watch isn't going to change the facts about Obama's health plan.

I watch it occassionally for the entertainment value only -kinda like looking at a car wreck (sometimes you just can't help yourself), oy-- definitely not even close to being "news".
