QUOTE "“the time to act is now.”
Calling climate change “the moral challenge of our generation,” the UN Secretary-General said “the eyes of the world” were on negotiators meeting in Bali. “Succeeding generations depend on us,” he said. “We cannot rob our children of their future.” UNQUOTE.

My question is simple -
How did ALL these people get to Bali for this TWO WEEK Conference?

Joe and Jane Public are being harrangued into reycycling, and made to feel guilty for driving a car or FLYING to a HOLIDAY destination..... etc

Re pachl@.....
I can inform you that IRELAND ie the Republic of Ireland as opposed to Northern Ireland have had spotter planes flying over rural areas for years making sure farmers don't have bonfires on THIER LAND.. so helos going up to make sure bbqs aren't being enjoyed will make as little impact as the spotter planes in the Free State (aka Eire)

They flew in private or chartered jets of coarse... Problem though.. there wasn't enough room to park all those planes at the Bali airport, so they ferried them (empty) to a distant airport that had room.... Yea.... Hypocritical at least. (*HUGE* carbon footprint for that clusterf^^k).
The fact is that Climate Change is a scam... the object of which is to have control of world populations... the effect will be to bring everyone *down* to the same level as 3rd world nations.

As a delegate to this presigious conference, I resent your implication that we are acting as hypocrits.

I swear to you that each delegate took public transportation as far as possible. Some of our attendees made most of the journey on donkey, feeding the animal only hydroponically grown bio fruits and vegetables, but in proper proportion so the animal would not get gas, thereby expelling methane and adversely affecting global warming.

The conference took place completely without electricity. We used candles. Instead of a microphone to address the audience, each speaker was instructed to just speak loudly.

If any guest, attendee, or delegate came to the conference wearing a watch that was not solar powered, we would remove the offending chronometrical instrument, put it in a recycling bin, and then uncerimoniously take the culprit out back where we would flog him with a pure, hypo-allergenic hemp rope.

Each person at the conference was responsible for bringing his own cups so we would not have to waste water endlessly washing them.

We did our best to have a zero impact on our brittle, endangered world. However, since you do not seem to appreciate our efforts, we are going to implement our next step far ahead of schedule, and if you wish to call it vindictive, so be it. Henceforth, backyard BBQ's will be illegal.

We will start by having helicopters making sweeps throughout the U.S., UK, and Ireland. These helicopters will be fitted with infrared detection units, which can pinpoint a heat source from 3 miles away. Since it will not be feasible to land the helicopter to enforce our restrictions, we will use heat-guided missles to blow up the offensive barbecue grill. You may consider this harsh, but we are committed to protecting our Mother Earth.

The convention is being held in basic terms 12km from the worldwide Airport. people are attending from around the international. Bali is amazingly relatively placed between China and Australia in proper Indonesia (a considerable oil producing united states) - the place could you like that they meet? assembly Electronically could paintings for a meeting related to a somewhat small style of contributors, even with the incontrovertible fact that it relatively is not any replace for head to head touch between the representatives of one hundred eighty countries. it is not had to offer up worldwide return and forth to get severe appropriate to the worldwide warming situation. Al Gore has an prolonged record of issues that individuals can do to help resolve the undertaking on the tip of his action picture.

In my opinion the UN is a farce. It has no authority outside of the BUILDING in New York! It has no control over members, membership itself is consensual, it has no taxing authority, it is quite literally a myth!
