excellent question (as always)
yes, time is the most precious. i wish i would have known just how much fun i was having when i was younger. the older i get the less fun i seem to have.
as for words, as the saying goes, you can't unring a bell!!!!!
opportunity, however, can come around many times, depending on the situation!!!

Time and words, definitely.
But opportunity? Well, sometimes another comes around.

As far as time, Yes.
"He who kills time injures eternity."
As far as words, Yes.
"Words once spoken can never be recalled."
-Wentworth Dillon
As far as opportunity, Yes.
"The sure way to miss success is to miss the opportunity."
-Victor Charles
Also, this goes in line with time.
"He who kills time buries opportunities."
Deep question. Kind of refreshing here on P@S. Thanks.

For most circumstances. Every once in a while we do get a second chance. I call that a miracle!

i don't believe that. most humans are creatures of habit and their lives are cut into patterns.
