Would you recommend any train stations / bus stops that are the most "crowded"?
Or would you pick up leaflets / go to Job Fairs / look into your University's magazine?

I don't know what country you live in, but in the U.S. it would be highly inappropriate to find employees by going to a crowded train station or bus stop! Now that you mention it, I did once have some one from an employment agency approach me at a bus stop and try to interest me in a secretarial job (I was working on my doctorate at the time), and I was highly offended by it.

While the sources vary by industry and by location, the "best place" to look for employees is the place where potential employees tend to go to look for jobs. These days, when you are talking about college graduates, that is usually the internet. There are hundreds of websites out there which offer jobs to graduates, and to which graduates look for work possibilities. While they complain that this puts them into direct competition with thousands of other people, that works well for the employer. Check with your fellow students about which are best in your area or for your field.

In addition, there are job fairs and the placement centers of universities to which many students still look to make the right connection with an employer. You may need to do a little research to find out which ones are best for you.

Well, for a start i wouldn't go to train stations etc because it would just be a waste of money, time etc.

The best things i found is in job fairs, magazines, a free papers (free papers cost more but more people get them).
In the UK there is a paper that is put on all the buses around the midlands called "Metro". Its free and is always a good start to look.

Another thing is to try and advertise in student accommodation, around campus, in cafes and in bars that specialise in students (eg. Scream)

Hope this helps

Honestly, you could advertise on Craigslist and you wouldn't need to do anything else! I've found many excellent job offers online! Younger gen graduates prefer THE INTERNET...
