Jeepers... that is one loaded question. You should get some really interesting responses.
There are so many great books out there you should read. We may never really know the truth... the Warren commission report material/evidence is being held for a century I believe.

The Mob they say had a reason to hate him.
The communists - pay back for the Castro assasination attempts...
The FBI - J. Edgar Hoover.
The CIA.

Pick up a Jim Garrison book and get more confused as to all of the possibilities.

Anyone can come up with a theory, other scenarios, a second shooter, etc - but the known fact is that Lee Harvey Oswald shot Kennedy. Most, if not all these other stories that came or are coming out are opportunists getting on the bandwagon for notoriety or to make a buck.
And, as far as the 'mob' having a hand in it, that's pure hogwash. I personally knew one of the top 'hit men' who worked the 1940's and 1950's and he said that the mob wouldn't jeopardize their 'business' by doing a dumb thing like that.

That's a tough one. For every group that people say may have done it, there's enough motive, and generally enough means to do it too.

While I'm not as inclined to go for some of the big conspiracy theories on this one, there are some major facts that don't match up with the official report.

The Warren Commission found all sorts of motives for Oswald to do it, too many in fact. They traced Oswald to both pro-Castro Cubans and anti-Castro Cubans. They traced him to the Russians, and other places too. Its like they were looking for enough ways to prove it had to be him. They picked reasons for him to have done it that conflict with each other.

Some of the "eyewitness accounts" of Oswald's activities prior to the assassination don't make sense either. He looks to have almost posed for a number of pictures several days before. He was seen at a shooting range demonstrating his accuracy with a rifle, and for some unknown reason, someone there decided that they would take a picture of him at that time (though the person didn't know him). Interestingly enough, multiple photos like that appeared. All of them seemed to be perfect for demonstrating that Oswald was a sniper of excellent quality. Even more interestingly, when compared, the photos actually appear to be two or even three people that look like Oswald, but aren't.
He was seen in several places at the same time, by the sworn statements of several people. It would appear that there were a number of men that looked like Oswald wandering around Dallas several days before the assassination.

lee harvey oswalt. he was upset over the cuban situation and a border line sociopath.

if not him, i suspect a loose affiliation of the mob, (upset over aggressive prosecution after handing kennedy illinois), and cia/cuba operatives involved in the bay of pigs fiasco.

at this time i still go with oswalt. that theory doesnt sell books or make for good movies, but every LEGIT, scientific study that has been done comes up with the same conclusion. ozzie done it.

Was the man...

Politically he had numerous enemies. His views on race relations and international conflict were probably his major problems and created the most animosity. Large groups of people had very heated and contradictory ideas concerning his view of the changes the world needed to undergo.

And, unfortunately, it only takes one madman to pull a trigger...

Nobody knows for sure, I'm not a conspiracy theory person, but it is really fishy that the records are sealed basically until everyone who was alive the day he was shot will be dead before they are opened. (That day is my earliest memory and I think I will be in my mid to late 70s before they are opened).

our government. look at who was on the warren commission. those involved in writing the "warren report", as a "reward", eventually rose to the highest levels of government, including for example, gerald ford.
