The Cubs signed Fukudome but actually put wrong person's photo, Matsunaka on their web....

It kind of looks like him...they along with all the other teams know exactly who he is though, he will be a great assest to their team, averaging 29 homers a year is big in Japan but to be a "power hitter" here like they claim he is, he will have to do more than 29! The Cubs spent a lot on him but they got a great product for 48 million.

AH HA!!!! That explains a LOT. Remember Lou Brock for Ernie Broglio? They didn't get Broglio, they got some other guy!! Brilliant!! Maybe the Cubs ought to spring for a private detective instead of more free agents. Sort of makes you wonder who Kerry Wood and Mark Prior are REALLY pitching for, dudn't it.

Fukudome is a solid ball player who will have an immediate impact with the Cubs. He has power and speed and the Cubs and all the other MLB teams know how good he is.
