Collect like terms.

Like terms are terms with the same "letters" to the same power.

For example 2a^2 and 3a^2 are like terms because "letters" (variables) are the same and to the same power = 5a^2

3a^2 and 4a^3 are not like terms, because power of a in the first term is 2, in the second is 3.

Good Luck

w second power (w^2) +w+1=0
therefore
w^2= -w-1
substitute this value of w^2 in given equation,

after sustitution equation will become

(-w-1-2w+1) + (2w-5-w-1)
= -3w+w-6
= -2w-6
-2(w+3)
