He recorded this in 1968. I would be going to Vietnam a year later. There were women and events associated with this piece of music that, 40 years later, I am still trying to sort out.
Good music though, I could never take that from him.
"Galveston" hits a little harder...

yes , and bad one's at that. Glen Campbell didn't have a talented bone in his body. Just doing the same thing as every other C/W performer before him .Stand their strumming a six string. Alice Cooper, now that was a show !

No, I remember reading stories about how he abused Tanya Tucker years ago, and that turned me off of ever liking him.
