I received 2 friend requests from unknown guys... I kept them waiting for so long because I felt guilty to "cancel" the requests.

Then today I "Approved" them, after which I went and checked on their profile... they were all full of "games" and useless stuff & realized its a mistake approving them. So I removed them from the friends list immediately.

I have never removed anyone and nobody has removed me either, so I don't know what will happen.

My question is (and worry is), will they be notified like "X added you as a friend" and then "X removed you from his friends list"?

No, they won't be notified that you removed them from your friends list. After you approved their friend request, they received a notification on Facebook on their homepage that you were now friends -- but they don't receive an actual email about it.

But right after you remove them, they won't receive anything -- neither a notification in their home page or an email. So you're safe! They'll notice you are no longer friends though if they look for you on their friends list and notice you aren't there anymore. But maybe those guys are so busy with their games they won't even check their friends list! lol

They will be notified that you added them as a friend, but they will not be notified that you removed them. I think it's probably fine. In the future, just ignore the friend request. There is no notification when you ignore a friend request.

They will be notified that you added tham but won't be notified when you remove them. I had a similar occurance with somebody who was friends with alot of my friends requesting my friendship, I accepted it but then realised I had absolutely no idea who this person was! I promptly removed them.

That's the trouble with Facebook, people can fish around their friends for people who they may not know.

It's obvious that you're a man with manners, good for you; you didn't have to wait so long to cancel their requests if you don't wish to be friend with them, they won't know that you canceled it; and it's ok to add someone "and he'd be notified that you added him" then you remove him from your friend request after viewing his profile "and he won't be notified that you removed him.
all of that is ok, no thing personal, you know!

When you delete friends on facebook no one will recieve any type of notification, but they will be removed from your friends list and you will be removed from theirs. Hope this helps.
