since i don't have much money this year(OK i never have a lot of money LOL) I'm going to bake everyone a bunch of goodies, total $200. 75% of my friends are in college and the sparkle they get in their eyes when someone says free food it's like when the sun is peaking through a rain cloud.

About the same.
One thing I am doing different this year is giving money in a pretty card.
I have a lot of shopping each year it cuts down on some and they can buy what they want.

I sent out 6 gifts of thanks ...to people I'd owed a "thanks" to from the past few years (that I couldn't get to doing till now). Just so happened Christmas coincided with my gift giving...so that was nice.
I did cut my Christmas card list in half this year. Seems that when relatives stop sending to me, then I stop sending to them. So I think all the joy of Christmas begins with "us".

Definitely. I can only afford to give my son gifts... and even so, I'm going to have to hold off on a couple bills to do it

I have cut down this year as the kids are getting older and we are no longer buying for all the adults. Everyone has agreed we will just buy for the kids.
