Whether you find Seattle cold or warm is entirely subjective. An Alaskan would find it balmy; a Californian or Floridan would find it freezing. It's all based on your point of view and where you're from.

Being that I'm from here, I find it perfect... not to warm, not too cold.

Meteorologically-speaking, western Washington is a mild, temperate climate, and rarely ever gets truly cold or truly hot, except on rare occasions. Eastern Washington sees hotter temperatures and colder temperatures by the virtue of the fact that it's in a rain shadow and much of it is desert-like.

Winter: warmer than Minnesota.
Summer: cooler than Phoenix.

Just kidding...right now it's in the 40s during the day and 30s or 20s at night. Summertime, it'll be in the 70s or 80s during the day, 50s at night. Pretty mild...being close to the Sound keeps it pretty even-keel.

Seattle is C O L D! I know we don't get the blistery winter storms that much of the midwest, Chicago, and heck, many other states get, but currently it is really COLD here! It's in the thirties, but being a typically mild climate, it is super cold! First ice on the windshield and I went to Mexico for a week! Now, it just feels even colder.

Neither, it is mild. In the winter it is 40s, in the summer it is 70s. It does go outside of this range, but this is the norm.
