I deserve a holiday....hmmmmm....why do I deserve one??? Guess I don't deserve one after all!

Hmmm ...
worked VERY HARD for many, many decades ...
SERVED my Country in the Armed Forces (and Honorably Retired)
SURVIVED a short disaster of a marriage to an abusive, violent sociopath (and yes, I had to pay a fortune and walk away from everything I had/earned to that date so that MY children and I could LIVE)
Was a Long Term Single Parent of TWO children with Disabilities (and the ONLY income supporting their needs) ..
SURVIVED yet another Burglary of MY HOME by that awful Ex (August 2006, Have been repairing the damage/destruction since that time)
Became an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree (FINALLY)!
So yes ... after so many, many years of SACRIFICE and caring for those who did not even think of me as a person (especially the Ex and the Adult Child who willingly helped the ex burglarize my home in August 2006) ..
AFTER surviving and ENDURING the Childrens' Teenage Years (and Young Adult years ... believe me .. those hormonal rages, the anger, the bad decisions that they make -- it was FINALLY time for me to be FREE and cut the apron strings)
I DO Deserve and WANT a HOLIDAY!
I NEED REST ... I need to SIT DOWN, have PEACE and QUIET -- a Little bit of consideration .. and someone (who actually cares) to say ... "Please LET ME do that for you!"
