'hmmm I'm trying to think who may caused the recent deaths of possibly a million Iraqis in a recent and unnecessary conflict -

??

but Hitler caused 6 MILLION so perhaps my candidate is somewhat less despotic -

but when Hitler flexed his muscle - the Nazi troops would come into a town - seize the records at the local church - if the local clergy objected, then BANG! shot 'em dead and still took the towns records of every person and went knocking on doors to inform each person that they were now under military rule, if they didn't like it - BANG! shot 'em dead

When business and government become bundled together - the rule will be powerful and the grip over regular people will be deadly strong

sounds like the seizing of phone records - today's tech is much better at this sort of monitoring

Canadian PM - Probably not
Brittish PM - Likewise
Israeli PM - Ditto
Pres of Russia - Possible - Hitler had to close a free society down before he could really get the Nazi party rolling. Putin is closing down Russian free society, or at least it appears so.
Pres of Iran - Possibly - Hitler needed a scapegoat for why things weren't exactly peachy in Germany so he tied it to Jews. Ahmadinejad is doing something similar but it's probably religious based hate instead of just needing a scapegoat so not as likely but possible.
Pres of U.S.A - Most likely candidate - Bush with the patriot act has started to close down free society like Hitler. He has separated who "true" Americans are (his supporters) and his political opponents are equated to traitors. Hitler did the same to get his Nazi party so popular in Germany. He has used simple words to cast a wide net over his international enemies. (words: terrorists & islamofascist [even though islamofascists do not even exist - Islam - Major religion in the middle east. Fascist - A secretive government run by the wealthy { Who in the middle east is wealthy? This is the 3rd world for crying out loud!}] )
Hitler did the same. And finally Hitler attacked nations in Europe before provocation. With the knowledge we know today it was not Saddam or any other nation involved in 9/11. It was purely the group known as Al-Queda and Saddam had no links to Al-Queda. So I hate to say it but Bush best fits the bill.

The media of the world. They are the only reason why we hate whats different. personally I love middle Easterners for a lot of the good qualities they possess but the media only show extremists in action..so everyone wants to hate every Muslim of the world. Same with illegal immigration...no one noticed except people in along the border but now that the media paints this picture of them being scum, you hear everyone wanting to shoot an immigrant on site and lock them up. Hate and events such as the one Hitler took part on is only possible when you have ignorant people to support it.

None of the Above. Because Hitler came into a country with a high cultural need for authority, and a complete implosion of authority. He offered them through Nationalism a sense of pride, order, and authority and restored Germany from the Post WWI chaos.

We don't have any example like that today. Putin would be closest but he isn't close enough to be meaningful for your question

Ahmadenijad - President of Iran.

Look at the startling similarities between him and Adolf Hitler.

In 1924, Adolph Hitler wrote a book called Mein Kampf which basically spelled out his views and intentions for Germany. From 1925 on, he made many public speeches in which he elaborated on his ideals and what he would do to implement them. This was no secret. Europe knew then what they were going to have to face, yet they felt that if they appeased der fuhrer, he would spare them. The result: 12 million dead people, most of whom were citizens of countries who turned away when they KNEW Hitler was a threat.

Why do you people think that this could not happen again?

Similarly, Ahmadenijad reinforces many of his anti-west speaches with, "Death to Israel, death to America." He is one of te front-runners that we face in the struggle against radical Islam. He has publicly told the world his intentions to #1 destroy Israel, and #2 destroy all of western culture.

It's funny that in the past few weeks, reports have been surfacing that say Iran stopped its nuclear program in 2003. Prior to a few weeks ago however, ALL intelligence showed that they are running an active nuke program. Saudi Arabia, Israel and even France are saying that their intelligence shows that they STILL have these programs. This reminds me again of WWII when Nevil Chamberlin arrived back in Englan waving a piece of paper signed by Adolph Hitler saying, "Peace in our time!" Now looking back, was that bogus signature worth 12 million lives? Have you knuckle heads not learned?

Is countless years of Islamic attacks through embassy bombings, the Marine Corps Barracks in Beirut, WTC bombing #1, the USS Cole, and 3,000+ dead at the World Trade Center on 9/11 not enough warning or reason to annihilate these fundamentalists who have vowed to stop at nothing to destroy America and teach their children to strap bombs to themselves? Well, to some people it isn't.
