i didnt know the speed made a difference as this wasnt for me but for a friend ty anyway for your answer.

Compressed a movie will be either 700MB or 1.4GB depending on the quality. For a full uncompressed DVD you can burn and play on a standalone player it will be ~4GB.

Depending on quality, 700 mb is about the smallest you would want to have a 2 hour movie. 1.3 Gb is really good. 4 Gb is DVD quality.

usually a 2 hour movie would be between 2 gig and 5 gig, depending on rexsolution and quality, and of course the filetype.

I have apocalypse now and it is 612 mega bites.movies are anywhere between 600-800 on average.
