As the fields are harvested and the temperature drops, every mouse is eyeing your house, garage or maybe even your car for its winter home. I have seen in many cases country homes with no food or garbage full of mice and believe it or not the owner had put soap in all the dressers for a nice smell and the soap is what they had eaten.Mice get into your homes because they can squeeze through openings slightly larger than one fourth inch in diameter. That's about the size of a pencil. So close up those entrances.

Why Do You Get Mice

Its because there is a place that mice can get in and their homes are nice and warm - and all the other houses in the street have cats. The mice go to the house which is safe and warm.

The best way to control mice is to keep them out in the first place. Check your home yearly to make sure it's still mouse-proof and keep your home and property uncluttered. Don't expect your cat or dog to keep mice away. You have to take the necessary steps to prevent mice from becoming a problem.

Mice like shelter, too. It is common for them to seek warm, dry place to spend the winter. Any food around is just gravy, haha.

I've If theres a way in and theyre in the area you'll usually find them, it's a good idea to ensure all food is in secure containers and all rubbish is in a bin with a tight lid, I find theyre more problematic in winter as they like warm places
