Hey guys,

I have a sony vaio c220e laptop. And sony chooses to install a ton of crappy bloatware on their laptops along with some sort of driver check that ONLY allows you to use their drivers. Which needless to say I hate with a passion, now my laptop has legal version of vista home premium but it does not come with a vista cd (in case i want to format). Instead it uses a hidden partition and in that partition al the bloatware and driver crap is included, which I don't want. Soooo....

Is there anyway for me to get a 'free' (legally) or even pay for a vista home premium iso. I just want to be abled to get it instantly as I need to do this soon while I have the time. Of course I could hit up a torrent but god knows what crap is injected into those files.

I figure maybe microsoft has a place you can dl the iso since you already legally have the os to begin with.

God I hate sony and you should never buy their crappy laptops.. ;p

Thanks,
10toesdown

Also, maybe there is a way to bypass sony's driver check without having to do a clean format.

I'm guessing I'm going to run into driver hell soon .

:X god i hate sony

Maybe the better option is to simply UNINSTALL some of the sony software you don't want ?????

well, you may just wanna uninstall the programs that you don't wanna use. if you need just vista, you will have to buy a licensed copy. if you ask sony for a copy, they will give you the exact same copy with all their factory programs installed anyway. better just uninstall all the programs that you don't need & after that, do a registry check so all the registry left by those uninstalled programs will be removed.

With 4 Gigs, Vista homestead top classification would be super on that computing device. in basic terms some caveats to hearken to to: a million. do not run previous application with Vista!!! 2. do not use previous hardware with Vista!!! That' ought to save you out of hardship. And as constantly, save your anti-virus up as much as now and vista nicely matched, and you ought to be super.
