Maybe he's had to carry all the heavy stuff?

Maybe he's thinking that he's a good guy and he'll be repaid in the next life by being a woman, and yes, having things easier. Yes, he's made a powerful statement. I would read a lot into it if I were you. He's probably trying to describe to you how difficult it is to deal with most western women. They have it easier (all things considered) than men, and yet lament that their man has it easier and/or isn't perfect. You're probably being passive-aggressively judged for having the inability to see the big picture and having double standards. Ask that he be more direct and more specific about what he means when he makes statements like that. But be prepared.....

Hi Marguerite,
You could also take it to mean that in his next life after life when he comes back as a man, that since he lived a life as a woman and is now a man, that he has a better understanding and appreciation of the life of a woman.

My husband said the same thing a few years ago, but no longer says it, since I left him home for a whole week in which he had to take care of the house, kids, and the rest of the family. (LOL) I had a lovely vacation.

You could always ask him what he meant?

Peace & Love,
Sam

He defiantly means that females have an easier life.Think he could get away with "Not looking upon you the same" for a comment? It's a gender thing.

that could very well be what he means,
it'd be best you talk to him about it if you're worried or something, but I'm pretty sure he meant it lightly.

as for if it's true... nah

life doesn't seem to care what gender you are, sometimes you just get it hard.
maybe in some areas there's more leaning towards men having harder lives, or women having harder lives.
but if you're a woman, who thinks you have it tough as a woman, I can assure you there's a man out there who's worse of than you

same goes for men, if you think your life is hard, there's a woman out there that is worse off then you.

That's something new. Maybe because he wanted to experience something new. I don't think that would not be possible. Who knows he might be better in his new role. I don't think either that the role of women are much easier than men. Indeed women have a great role especially if one is a mother.

Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

There is a country saying that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Me it was I'd would rather be rich then poor but as I get older I see I was wrong. I grew up poor but did not know it, for there was love which some of the more affluent lacked.

He means that he never got love from any woman in this life while he loved the women in his life. It dates back to his childhood days when his mother also did not love him when he loved his mother. He has been very eager to have some love in his life and for that need he have been making a very quick and wrong decisions in his life.
All of us do exactly the same thing in our respective lives.
None of us have an easier life, if we have angers and depressions in our lives.
Angers and depressions if not resolved cuts the relationships of any person with the other.
Anger causes us our paranoia and our paranoia destroys all our faith and trust in our relationships and this is precisely what makes our life a horrible experience on earth.
If we do not exercise our forgiving qualities, we are doomed to live in this world of Interpersonal relationships.
Then we are better off to live in a cave or live with a dog who is less in its angry response of their masters or mistresses...!!!
The dogs are extremely dependent upon their masters and mistresses, but human lose this dependencies with their injured Ego.
The dogs also lose their trust and affection when the owner gives them up to SPCA.
There is no free lunch in the history of interpersonal relationships unless we follow the rules of love and forgiveness and our solemn duty to love our loved ones even if they become ill.

One word "awkward". LoL, he must really felt comfortable enough to confide that in you.
1. Women have no more easier, but some men would rather live as women in their next life, for they didn't find perfection in their gender.
2. Sexual curiosity will some times make us say strange things.
3. Women are beautiful, men are handsome. Some men would rather be beautiful lesbians.

It's your husband - throw him some slack. He probably meant nothing from the statement, except that at that moment, he thought it would be easier to be a woman. Men do envy a woman's ability to get a sexual partner just by "showing up."
