I am 35weeks 2days pregnant and today when I went to the toilet something like snot came off/out with the toilet paper. I was told the mucus plug looks like snot and can sometimes have what looks like blood.
Well this was just like normal snot.
DOES IT SOUND LIKE I LOST SOME OF MY PLUG?

SORRY if it was to detailed.

Also I don't know if it has anything to do with anything, but I can feel alot of movement from him (I am having a boy) in my pelvis. It is like his head is spinning. (I was told that he is already head down, and that it is normal so soon because it is my first child)

What happens when you loose some or all of your plug?

Sounds like that was the plug. Head down is quite normal. My son was also very active, and still going right into theatre for my 2nd section!

Just be prepared for an early arrival, make sure your hospital bag is ready and you have spare clothes if your waters break.

Keep the midwives number handy along with your notes.

My 3rd baby arrived at 35 wks within 2 days of a "show".

the mucus plug does look a little like snot! Its usually quite a large glob of snot looking stuff and very stringy like an egg white would be. You can't just wipe if off in one go, usually it takes a few goes to get it all off you and your knickers! Sometimes it is a little blood stained. My first wasn't really but I noticed a bit in my second so it doesn't have to be.

Also it sounds like your son is grinding down with his head on your pelvis which can be so uncomfortable! You could be starting to get effaced or thinned because he has dropped quite well down which could also cause the loss of mucus plug.

I don't want to dampen your spirits but try not to get too excited that he may be coming soon! Sometimes it can take weeks before labour starts even though you are getting all those first pre-birth symptoms like mentioned above.

I would mention to your doctor midwife that you think you have lost your mucus plug and he/she can do an internal exam to see what is happening down there. Its usually nice to get an indication on how things are travelling although again, it doesn't mean you will go into labour anytime.

Best of luck to you and congrats on the baby boy!

Yes you have lost some of your mucus plug. I had a boy and I carried him low too.
