what is a bund fire?

i am doing an assignmnent about Buncefield and would like to know what a bund fire is?

Bund means a small earthen barricade or raised earth and made like some sort of fence.Those looking after forests have to burn the fallen leaves after autumn.To burn the scattered leave in a controlled way,they raise small earthen bunds with small height of a foot or two.They then collect dry scattered leaves in several heaps and set fire into them.The bund controls the fire from spreading into other areas.
