No, it doesn't bug me to go barefoot anywhere. It isn't that harsh if you're a regular barefooter, and feet don't need support even on pavement; a survey showed the guys pulling the rikshaws, running on pavement all day long, had very few foot problems. Far less than folks wearing footwear all the time!

Depends on the pavement. If it is smooth, then no problem. If it is rough like a lot of streets, then it hurts to walk bare-footed over them. All the jagged edges try to dig into my feet that way.

Not a bit. I love being bare foot. Unfortunately we have a gravel drive surrounding by muddy fields so it's not ideal!
