Kobe's certainly looking like less of a ball hog and when the bench performs then they usually win. Andrew Bynum is more consistent than last year, Jordan Farmar has picked up his game and it looks like Vladmir Radmanovic is starting to find his touch. And hopefully it won't be soon before Lamar Odom gets into the mix. If his supporting cast continues to improves and Kobe continues to share the ball, do you think they can make the Western Conference Finals (if not the NBA finals)?

I think they can make it to the finals, if the bench plays well, Bynum does his thing, Lamar Odom starts to play his game like last year, and derek fisher hitting threes, vlade shooting well and with Farmer, Kobe can trust his teammate more and pass. Then you have Kobe Bryant the most clutch and unstopable scorer, and he is playing his best defense in his career. This team can go all the way. if injuried happen, to either lamar and especially Kobe the season will be a long and dreadful season.

To be honest, i hope the lakers are heading for a trade. No offense but the lakers haven't seen anymore success when kobe was more of a ballhog. It just seems the role players are doing what they are suppose to do to help kobe. But of course it is hard to match up the production of kobe.
I don't think they will make Western conference finals. If they are lucky to make it to 5th or 6th seed, they may have an easier road to the second round.
I'm a suns fan, but i'm no hater. I would love to see Kobe win since he is a winner.

They're headed no where! They made a stupid choice between Kobe and Shaq. Kobe is one of the most selfish, arrogant people, vs. Shaq is pretty much about the team, witnessed by another Championship in Miami, and the Lakers going really no where since Shaq left.

I believe they are headed for the number 7 or 8 slot in the playoffs. They need more than what they have to go deep into the playoffs.

First round exit IF they make the playoffs. Utah, GS, and Houston are behind them right now and are all very capable of jumping them. For the people who think they are a 2nd round team, who are they going to beat? San Antonio, Phoenix, Dallas? No way.

They'll make the playoffs as a number 8 or 7 seed..
they're talent and hunger will help them surprise everyone in the first one. But they'll lose to a much more talented team in the 2nd.
