lol, hum. Everyone is smart in their own areas. You would be surprised how intelligent some people can be if you get them in their "realm". Maybe you should expand your mind a little. Broaden the subjects which interest you. Try to relate to more people and what, how they feel.
Also look into emotional intelligence. It's the new buzz. It's being smart enough to know what emotions are appropriate in different situations. It's harder than you think. This might be your problem as well.
My last advice... no one likes a know it all. I find I am happier now that beer has destroyed some of my brain cells. I don't suggest this because there are times I wish I had them back... but knowledge isn' meant for everyone... take care who you share it with.

Maybe you're looking in the wrong places. Try a University instead of a loony farm next time.

Look for people who share the same interests as you. Join a club (mensa) or move to a college town and become a tutor. and remember, there is a time and a place for every subject in my kingdom.

May be all the people you meet have levels higher than you and that is why you can't find your equal. It is just a guess.

you're funny. don't "peg" down for anyone. and don't assume everyone you meet isn't equal. many are very humble and many don't feel arrogance is attractive so why feed or challenge it?

always be yourself....besides if you are as smart as you say....inspire and help others....be a good person...and nice to other people....not so great if you are intelligent....and don't do anything good with it....
