if they were close to the end of a terminal illness and in great pain and suffering yes i would, and i hope someone would do the same for me

yes, this is termed as EUTHANASIA, a practice done medically, which is legal in a state of US called Oregon. The theory of this practice is to relieve the troubled patient from agony and disease.
doesn't apply to healthy human

it depends on the circumstances if they are terminally ill and suffering with pain etc then i would i think.
