lol, sounds like a smart man. What difference does it make... It's not like a diamond from a pawn shop is any different or "newer" than a diamond freshly dug from the dirt by some poor slave laborer.
Any man who pays $4000 for a drill bit mounted on a ring is a chump. I agree with the guy below me about the ex-wife thing. The least he could do is pawn the ex's ring and pick up a another on craig's list or at a garage sale =P.
I have yet to see an ex give a ring back. That only happens in the movies. Usually they either chunk it or pawn it.

I'm not a woman but I'm going to act like one
It'd be ok (in my opinion, but that may be just because I'm a man XD) if he bought it from eBay
but if it was his ex-wifes well then hell yeah i'd refuse his proposal, that cheap a$$. He could've bought a $20 ring and it would've meant more than using his ex wifes ring.

I don't really care if it's from ebay. If it is worth a lot lol. I really don't want a diamond. I don't want it if it's from the x wife I will curse his a** out if he gave me his ex-wife's ring.

ummm....
I would not mind from eBay so much (as you might get something "more" for you dollar).
But I wouldn't want one that belonged to the ex-wife (Plain crazy!!) Yep definitely not one that the ex-wife wore... you'd always feel second best!

eBay wouldn't bother me too much, but the Ex's ring is just plain tacky. I wouldn't refuse I'd just tell him to ask me again when he got me a different ring.

Love matters not by the size of the ring but by the size of his heart if he bought it from eBay but I'd be miffed if it was from his ex.
