First off, Christ some of these other people who answered are either incredibly dumb or stupid...maybe both.
'Kay: short answer- they aren't repeating about it being the fraud IT SO OBVIOUSLY WAS because the same people who were behind 9/11 are the same f-cking people who control the mainstream media! Hell, for all we know, some of the media heads were in on the planning of the op!
You know, sometimes I really feel like some of these g-ddamn Flat Earthers who still buy the "official story" behind 9/11 are like Tom Cruise in "A Few Good Men" crying, "I want the truth!". And I'm like Jack Nicholson shouting right back, "You can't handle the truth!!!!" Because obviously you can't, and I passed the point of having any sympathy for you dummies a long time ago.

They are not obliged to. It would probably anger more Americans than not if they started to say this. There is that highly convincing video "Loose Change" that shows it was, but there is also the "Screw Loose Change" that supposedly contradicts all this (admitidly I haven't seen Screw Loose Change) so I cannot comment.
