If you had demured it would be a gentle acceptance of any gestures that you presumed were being cast in your direction.
Alas actively seeking someone's attention with a view to looking away in feigned nonchalance would generally be construed as a rebuttal and can lead to counter productive anatagonism.... best just avert eyes when confronted, or smile and break the ice, or wear your ardent racism born of a sense of belonging to the superior creed confidently, patriotically and with pride. Warm regards.

Nope.... not at all.
... And I recommend you ignore the rest of the idiots responding here.

Clearly you just felt disinclined to look at her for whatever reason. Maybe you just didn't like the look of her or perhaps something about her irritated you.
In any case.... it was your business alone that you decided to avert your eyes..... and if she takes it as some personal insult and gets angry about it then that is her own stupid problem. If she can't get over a little eye-diversion then she is likely to have much more difficulty dealing with more severe problems later in life.

Just don't fret it anyway. It isn't racist... and she was being pathetic. You're best off ignoring her full stop.

No friend, this is not a racist gesture but it a tit for tat policy. It means if you cheat someone at any time or at any pretext, it hurts the other person so he decides in his mind to take the revenge of that kind of ugly gesture. So you get the right answer from her whatever she did to you to make you feel how she was hurt. I think this explanation/justification will really cool your hot mind to give you solace or consulation.

I'm not sure it's racist, but I can imagine how it would be bloody annoying. If it irritated her, why did you do it a further 5 times after the first?

Man that is just odd behavior. She did not think it was racist but an insult. Closing ones eyes and looking the other way on purpose against someone is very very rude. Think about and you will understand this.
