It would depend on the type of person. We were all brought up not to talk to strangers and that is sad. A stranger is only that until you get to know them. Unfortunately the world is getting nasty and it is a wise code to live by. I would size them up give a chance but reveal no personal details until a few encounters.

Get to know them to see if you'll be good friends - then they wont be a stranger. All your friends now we're strangers at one time.

hum ... well that can be touchy people try and get to know each other a little bit more before committing to a friendship i take my friendships to heart so i have to check the person out first try and see what kind of human being the person is and what they believe in and how they live there lives and what they stand for and then we will see

I would feel nervous that they had a screw loose! Would chat to them for a bit but I would never invite them back to my house or into my life.
