get a nail scrubbing brush and use that on them it will take them all off, the bristles are soft enough that it wont damage them

I've heard this called "pilling". It happens more with synthetic fabrics like acrylic or polyester than with natural fibers but basically the fibers are coming untwisted and pulled out a bit from the sweater and then the roll up to make a little pill or ball. Best bet if it's a nice or expensive garment is to hand wash in cold water or have it dry cleaned. The less scrubbing you do the better. Also you can shave it with a de-piller or a regular disposable razor but be careful not to cut the fabric. Pull the threads will make it worse. They need to be cut.

I am guessing you mean that it gets these round balls of fuzz all over it!

For delicate things, it's best to wash by hand or machine wash on gently, and most importantly: Air dry.

If you want clothes to look new a lot longer, air dry them. Dryers are very damaging to clothing! By air drying a T-shirt, it will look new twice as long .
If you have jeans that are a bit saggy, leave em air dry, and they will be nice and stiff! A quick iron and they will feel nice and snug.

Try this: Take the T-shirt out of the washing machine and instead of ironing it, air dry it. Try to keep it flat as possible.

When dry, turn it inside out, and iron it. What a difference!
For stuff like sweaters, you don't even need to iron.

Another trick is to take the item and tie it inside a pillow case. It will dry, and not get the "pills" / "bubbles" / "Fuzz balls"
on it.

Bobbling will happen with lots of friction. Turn them inside out for washing and handwash if possible. You can buy jumper shavers to get rid of the bobbles, but it's difficult to stop it happening altogether.

Turning the garment inside out helps. Then the bobbles are on the inside. This used to happen with polyester sheets years ago. I can remember shaving my sheets with a razor because the bobbles stopped me sleeping. You could try a safety razor on the fleece. Just be gentle, careful with the edge.

Are you putting your jumpers in the washing machine on a too hot wash. Try hand washing them, you'll see a big difference.

I've had fabric shavers. They always crap out. I use either a clean double bladed shaving razor or a pumice stone.
