A student from Psychology class says to you,My professor spends too much time discussing a weird thing called ‘synaptic transmission’.
But I’m a Psych major, I just don’t understand why we need to learn about this!” Provide a convincing explanation for why every student of psychology
should be keenly interested in the process of synaptic transmission. Use at least one relevant
example that supports your explanation.

Of course this is important in Psychology, you are learning about the brain and the functions of mental processes and behavior associated with it. I just finished a semester of Gen. Psychology and it is interesting to know how a malfunction (misfiring) in the synaptic transmission process can be the cause of many of the disorders that happen to many people. This is also important to know so that psychologist know what exactly is causing the disorder and what type of medication would be able to "fix" the malfunction.
