NO you cannot
You need to LOAD/INSTALL the game to the laptop.
playing by remote desktop type links WILL NOT WORK !

Some games you can (also pirated versions of original ones).
But if you are having the CD of the game, you can create an "image" of the CD by using burning softwares like nero and you can transfer the image file to the required PC/laptop aand by using softwares like deamon tools you can create a virtual drive and mount the image, install and play the game

Yes, there are two ways for that.
You can do a remote desktop and play the game.
Or you have to install a game which supports network gaming.
But dont expect good speed.

You could try some VNC software which would allow you to control your other computer from your laptop, I do it occasionally, using my MacBook to control my iMac upstairs and login to second life.

The speed will vary on your network and the type of game, but it's worth trying.
