The USA would probably be much the same as it is now, Rudy would continue on the current administrations course.
You could probably expect more curtailing of personal freedoms, and violations of your rights as an American.
Rudy chose no smoking for NYC, changed zoning laws to evict businesses from Times Square, and allowed other business to take their place.
He will be combative and obnoxious to all who disagree with him, including foreign leaders possibly. The Rep Gov Pataki of NY would not even speak to him.
His Law and Order credentials are a joke, he took credit for NYPD policies already in effect when he took office. He then brought in his Buddy Bernie and they declared war on the homeless. This became quite a nuisance for The NYPD, as they had real crime to worry about.
He will probably not make The USA any safer either. As Mayor he insisted against expert advice that Disaster Control be put in The Trade Center, after it had already been attacked once.
Anything significant? How about the loss of The American way of life.
As an aside, he dropped out of the Senate race to avoid an embarrassing defeat, no other reason.

That would be too scary to anticipate! We can be thankful it will never happen and that he is fast becoming a candidate of the past. The other two, Romney and Huckabee have got religion, but all that Rudy has is sins of the past. Democrats don't want him and Republicans won't accept him! You'll see!

I'm guessing if Rudy is elected, Bill and Monica were just the opening act.

I don't think there would be much difference between Rudy G. and Dubya's policies. That is why I probably will not vote for Rudy; I'm afraid he will carry on Bush's misguided War on Terror strategy because he seems to oversimplify the terrorists' rationale as "they hate freedom."

Let's be clear. Rudolph Giuliani is a neoconservative and we would therefore expect him to surround himself with like-minded individuals in offices and positions that handle foreign policy.
In my opinion, neoconservatism is a dangerous path for the country's foreign policy to continue on.

I do believe he would follow thru on his promise to start national service announcements to encourage more adoptions and less abortions.
That excites me! If we could just save a few babies, his presidency would be well done, imo.

It's impossible to tell, that is unless any of these people in this forum have some sort of ability to tell the future. If so, I have to ask myself why they are here instead of playing the lottery.

he has flip flopped on so many issues. I would never vote for him. As long as I dont have to hear him say the words "nine eleven" anymore, I will be happy.
